The sticker builder wraps one piece of artwork in a cut line and gives you the controls to get it ready to print: size, cut shape, colour adjustment, text, background and the margin between your design and the cut.
It is laid out in three columns — a tool rail and panel on the left, the canvas in the middle, and the sticker's settings on the right.
Add Your Artwork
Open the Images tab in the left rail and upload a file. If the shop publishes a gallery, a Gallery tab sits below it. Shops may also offer Canva and Dropbox tabs.
The Text and Edit tabs stay greyed out until you have added an image. There is nothing for them to act on before that.
The sticker builder caps a single upload at 20 MB, which is lower than the gang sheet builder's limit.
Set the Size and Cut Line
The right-hand panel opens with Size. Depending on how the shop prices stickers, this is either a dropdown of fixed sizes or a pair of width and height boxes you fill in yourself, up to the shop's maximum.
Below it, Cut Line offers up to five shapes — Die-cut, Rect, Ellipsis, Circle and Rounded. Shops choose which of these to offer, so you may see fewer.
Margin is a slider from 0.05 to 0.5 in your sticker's unit. It sets how much material sits between your artwork and the cut line. The current value is shown beside the label, and the rulers on the canvas update to show the finished cut dimensions as you drag.
The margin is part of the finished sticker, not a viewing aid. A die-cut sticker with the margin at its minimum has almost no border; at 0.5 it has a substantial one. Set it deliberately.
Background Color sits below the margin. Some shops restrict this to a set of swatches; otherwise you get a full colour picker.
Adjust the Image
Open the Edit tab. Three sliders adjust the artwork, each running from -1 to 1 and also accepting a typed value:
- Saturation — how strong the colours are.
- Contrast — how far apart the light and dark areas sit.
- Brightness — how light or dark the whole image is.
Reset clears all three and returns the image to how it arrived. If the shop has published preset filters, they appear as thumbnails below, with None as the first option.
Add Text
Open the Text tab and click Add New Text. With a text object selected you can set:
- Font, and bold, italic and underline where the font supports them.
- Left, centre and right alignment.
- Stroke Width, an outline from 0 to 10.
- Width and Height, which stretch the text.
- Text Color and Stroke Color.
Position Everything
A row of buttons appears above the canvas whenever something is selected. Hovering over each one names it: horizontal centre, vertical centre, centre in art board, snap to left, right, top and bottom, and delete. Drag any corner handle to resize, or use the Keep Aspect Ratio toggle in the right panel to control whether resizing stays proportional.
Check Your Work
Three toggles in the right panel control what you can see:
- Show ArtBoard Outline — outlines the sticker's bounding area.
- Show Image Outline — shows the cut line itself, so you can see exactly where the sticker will be cut.
- Remove Background — strips the background from your artwork.
The zoom controls sit at the bottom-right of the canvas: a fit-to-screen button, a minus button, the current zoom percentage, and a plus button. Each click changes the zoom by ten percent, and holding Ctrl while scrolling zooms towards the pointer.
Turn Show Image Outline on and zoom past 100% before you finish. The cut line is the one thing you cannot change after the order, and it is the easiest thing to get wrong on artwork with thin extremities.
Clear at the bottom of the right panel removes everything and starts the sticker again.
