The welcome popup is the first thing a customer sees when they open the gang sheet builder. It offers the ways they can begin: a brand new sheet, a previously ordered sheet, auto build, a working sheet they left unfinished, and names and numbers. Show Welcome Popup controls whether it appears at all, and the settings underneath it control how it looks and what it offers.
Before You Start
This setting lives in the Drip Apps merchant panel, not in the WordPress admin. From your WordPress admin, open the Gang Sheet menu and click Update More, which signs you into the merchant panel and drops you on the Settings page.
Turn the Popup On or Off
- Click Update More from the Gang Sheet page in your WordPress admin.
- Select Settings from the sidebar menu if you are not already there.
- Click the Settings tab in the row of tabs across the top.
- Click Appearance in the left-hand list of sections.
- Toggle Show Welcome Popup on or off. On, customers get the greeting popup when they enter the builder. Off, they go straight to the blank canvas.
- Click Save All under the section list.
Choose a Layout
The layout controls only appear while Show Welcome Popup is on.
- Pick List View to show the starting options as a stacked list, which is quick to scan and quick to load.
- Pick Gallery View to show them as a grid of image thumbnails, which is the more visual, curated presentation.
- Drag the options into the order you want customers to see them.
- Click an option's label to type your own wording over it.
- Use each option's toggle to hide the ones you do not offer. Name and Number is off by default.
- Click Save All.
Gallery View has no built-in artwork. Each option shows an empty tile until you upload an image for it, so upload a thumbnail for every option you have enabled before you switch a live store over to it.
The popup earns its place with new customers and for pointing people at a promotion or a specific starting path. If your customers are regulars who always start the same way, turning it off removes a click from every order.
Enabling an option here does not guarantee the customer sees it. Auto Build is hidden unless your plan includes auto nesting, Open Working Gang Sheet appears only when that customer actually has an unfinished design in progress, and Name and Number appears only when names and numbers is switched on in the Builder section. The popup shows nothing at all if every option ends up hidden.
