Image Gallery Settings – How to Configure Gallery Display Options

This tutorial explains how to manage and customize the Image Gallery settings within the Build A Gangsheet App on WordPress. These configurations allow you to control how customer-facing image galleries behave, including visibility, overlays, display mode, and watermark features.

Step-by-Step: Configuring Image Gallery Settings

  • Click on the Gang Sheet tab from your main admin panel.
  • Next, click Update More to access advanced configuration options.
  • Navigate to the Settings section from the left sidebar.
  • Under the main tab, click Settings again to expand its full panel.
  • Select the Image Gallery sub-tab to access gallery-specific settings.
  • Available Image Gallery Options

    • Show Gallery: Enable or disable the image gallery from being shown to users on the front end.
    • Enable Color Overlay: Toggle whether customers can apply a color overlay to images, which is useful for previewing designs with various tints or tones.
    • Category View Mode: Choose how you want the gallery to be categorized and displayed (e.g., grid, list, or grouped by tag).
    • Watermark Opacity: Adjust the visibility of your watermark to strike the right balance between branding and user experience.
Pro Tip: Use a higher watermark opacity for stronger brand protection, especially if you display high-quality previews. For better visibility, test your settings on various device types before finalizing.
