When you need this
The Download & Upgrade Now button on the Gang Sheet Home tab tries to upgrade the plugin in place. If any of its safety checks fail, the button does not show an error message — your browser simply starts downloading gang-sheet-builder_latest.zip instead. That download is the signal that the in-place upgrade did not complete and you now need to install the file yourself.

Steps
- Download
gang-sheet-builder_latest.zip— either from the automatic download the upgrade button started, or from the URL above. - In the WordPress admin sidebar, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Click the Choose File field labelled Plugin zip file and select the zip you downloaded.
- Click Install Now.
- WordPress will see that the plugin already exists and show a comparison screen. Click Replace current with uploaded.
- Go back to Gang Sheet and check the Current Version readout in the tab bar. The Products, Orders and Payments tabs should reappear.
Do not deactivate or delete the plugin first. Deactivation removes your stored access token, shop UUID and shop slug and tells Drip Apps to delete the shop record. Uploading over the top keeps all of it.
Why the in-place upgrade stops
The upgrade endpoint runs a sequence of checks and stops at the first one that fails. It returns a short code rather than a sentence, and the WordPress admin screen does not display that code — you will only see it in your browser's developer tools, on the Network tab, in the response to the upgrade request.

If you hit zip_inspection_unavailable, the in-place upgrade will never work on that host. Bookmark the zip URL and plan on the manual upload every time.
