Builder Settings (Woo) – Full Setup Guide for the Gang Sheet Builder

This tutorial walks you through every available setting inside the Builder tab of the Build A Gangsheet App for WooCommerce. You’ll learn how to configure upload options, DPI settings, design tools, checkout behaviors, spacing, and customer safety features — all aimed at optimizing your storefront and customer experience.

Accessing Builder Settings

Click the Gang Sheet tab in the main admin menu.

Select Update More to expand advanced configuration tools.

Click Settings and once again within the menu to enter full settings mode.

Go to the Builder tab to begin managing your gang sheet tool options.

Key Features and Customizations

Supported Upload File Types: Define which image or file formats your customers can upload.
Auto Resize to 300 DPI: Automatically scales down images to meet optimal printing resolution. The app will warn users up to three times if their file quality risks degradation.
Image Quality Warnings: A visible box outlines image resolution feedback as customers build their sheet.
Mandatory Print Approval: Customers must check “Print Anyway” to proceed with low-quality files — a helpful safeguard against print complaints.

Design Integration Options

Enable Canva: Customers can connect and import their Canva designs directly into the builder.
Enable Background Warning: Automatically flags uploads that have unwanted background specs and allows one-click background removal.
Enable Flipping Over Image/Text: Adds a flip tool to the builder for mirrored transfers.

Layout & Spacing Controls

Image Margin: Automatically spaces customer uploads, with the ability to adjust gaps manually.
Artboard Margin: Controls spacing between the design area and the gang sheet edge.
Measurement Units: Toggle between different metric systems as preferred.

Advanced Upload & Builder Automation

Auto Build: Allows customers to upload multiple files at once. The app will automatically generate and lay out multiple gang sheets as needed.
After clicking Auto Build , users can edit image dimensions and apply changes across selected designs.

Text & Color Customizations

Custom Text Colors: Define branded or local team color options for customer text entries.
Custom Image Overlay Colors: Enable specific overlay color options for added design control.
Disable Text Feature: Turn off text editing entirely if it's not part of your store’s workflow.

Checkout and Customer Experience Settings

Collect Shipping Addresses: Ensure address fields are required during checkout.
Enable Agree Modal: A pre-checkout agreement that confirms customers own copyrights, accept print responsibility, and acknowledge quality terms.
Default Language: Set the primary language for your builder interface.
Enable Live Chat: Integrate your preferred live chat widget to offer real-time support directly from the builder page.
