Steps

  • Create a New Product – Navigate to your Shopify admin dashboard and click Add product . Enter a suitable title for the product. This could be something like Upload Your Own Gang Sheet . In the inventory section, uncheck or adjust the Track quantity setting if you don't want stock limitations to apply. Next, click into the Product type field and type Gang Sheet . This helps categorize the product appropriately. Under Tags , type Gang Sheet to make this product easier to organize and find later. Under varitants , add the variants and pricing of your choosing. Click Save to apply these changes.
  • Configure the Product in Build A Gang Sheet App – After saving, go to the Shopify sidebar and click on Apps , then open the Build A Gang Sheet app. Within the app dashboard, navigate to the Products tab and locate the product you just created. Click Edit next to the product. Set the configuration type to Gang Upload to designate that this product allows gang sheet uploads. Click Save to confirm your selection.
  • Make the Product Live – From the Shopify admin panel, go to Sales channels and select Online Store . Click Customize to access the theme editor. Find and select your newly created product in the product preview list. Hover between existing blocks such as "Product Overview" and click the plus (+) icon to add a new block. In the block options, go to Apps and choose Gang Upload . Click Save to finalize the layout and enable the upload feature for this product. Once all of this is completed, go back to the product within your shopify products page, and assign the template you created under " Theme Template "
