Steps
Locate and Install the App – - Go to the Shopify App Store and search for "Drip Apps: Build A Gang Sheet" . - Click on the app name from the results. - Click the "Install" button. - Review the permissions related to personal and store data. - Expand each section to read the full details. - Click "Install" again to confirm. - Add your credit card details to activate the app features.
Initial Setup and Store Settings – - After installation, you'll be greeted with both visual and written instructions. - Click the "Settings" tab and enter your store information. - Upload your store logo under the "Store Logo" section. - Enter your contact email address. - Click "Save All" to preserve your changes.
Create a Gang Sheet Product – - Navigate to the Shopify "Products" section and click "Add Product" . - Create a product title (e.g., "Custom Gang Sheet"). - Uncheck the "Track quantity" box. - Tag the product as "Gang Sheet" under Product Type and Tags. - Click "Save" .
Theme Setup and Template Assignment – - Go to Online Store > Customize . - In the Theme Editor, use the search to locate your product page template. - Select "Products" and click "Create Template" . - Name your template "gang-sheet" and click "Create template" . - Return to your product settings and assign the newly created "gang-sheet" theme template to your product. - Click "Save" to apply changes.
Add the Gang Sheet Builder Button – - In your online store, go to the product tab on the left hand panel. - Click the “+” icon or Add block where you'd like the button to appear. - Select Apps and then the Gang Sheet Builder block. - Drag the block above the “Buy Button.” - Hide the “Buy Button” as it's no longer needed. - Customize the button's label, background color, and text color as desired. - Click "Save" and then "Exit" .
Configure Product Options in the App – - Return to the Shopify admin and go to Apps > Drip Apps: Build A Gang Sheet . - Select Products from the left menu, then click Edit on your product. - Under "Variants," add your width, height, and pricing per option. - Set "Max Allowed Files" (we recommend setting to "Unlimited"). - You can also adjust the "Size Option" and change the "Size Unit" field as needed. - Click "Save" once all settings are finalized.
Preview and Finalize Setup – - Click on Products to preview your Gang Sheet product. - Click "Create Gang Sheet Now" to test the app functionality. - All gang sheet size options should display correctly. - You can now upload images and start designing directly. - To begin a new sheet, select "Start a Brand New Gang Sheet" .
