Builder Tool: Enable Color Overlay

Steps

  • Open the Apps Section – From your Shopify admin panel, click on Apps to view your installed applications.
  • Click Build a Gang Sheet – Select the Build a Gang Sheet app to launch the custom builder interface.
  • Select Builder – Go into your Builder settings to access visual customization options.
  • Enable Color Overlay – Toggle the Enable Color Overlay setting to allow customers to use color blending features within their image selections.
  • Select an Image to Activate the Overlay – To see the overlay functionality in action, select an image within the builder. This will open up the overlay configuration panel.
  • Toggle the Overlay Feature On – Use the switch control to turn the overlay effect on for the selected image.
  • Blend Mode – In Blend mode, the color overlay merges selected tones from one image into another to create a smooth, combined look.
  • Overlay Mode – Overlay mode uses the design as a stencil or mask and fully covers the base image with the overlay pattern or color.
  • Adjust Gamma Settings – You can also modify the Gamma value to control brightness and contrast of the image overlay. This helps fine-tune how the final output appears to the customer.
