Builder Setting: Spacing

Steps

  • Open the App – From your Shopify admin, click on Apps in the left-hand sidebar. Select Build A Gang Sheet from your list of installed apps.
  • Navigate to Builder Settings – Inside the app, go to the top navigation and click on Settings . From the settings menu, select the Builder tab. This is where you’ll find all customization options related to how your builder interface behaves.
  • Locate the Spacing Control – Scroll down the Builder tab until you find the Spacing section. This section contains a numerical input field where you can define how much space should exist between uploaded images on the gang sheet canvas. You may need to click through a few collapsible menus to reveal the input field depending on your current settings layout.
  • Set the Desired Spacing – Click into the number field and input your desired spacing value (typically in pixels). A larger number increases the space between images, while a smaller number reduces it. This adjustment is especially useful when users are placing multiple designs within a single gang sheet and need consistent padding.
  • Save Your Settings – Once your spacing value has been entered, scroll to the bottom or top of the page and click Save to apply the changes. All gang sheets using the builder will now reflect this spacing value in live previews and final print files.
  • Why Adjust Spacing?

    • Improves visual clarity between multiple images.
    • Prevents artwork from overlapping or printing too close together.
    • Gives you greater control over design layout and sheet efficiency.
