How To Add A New Gang Sheet Product (Shopify)

Steps

  • Start in Your Shopify Admin – From your Shopify admin, navigate to the Products page. Click “Add Product” to begin creating a new item.
  • Add Basic Product Details – Enter a product title. This will appear in your storefront and within the Build A Gangsheet App. Disable “Track quantity” to allow unlimited purchases without inventory tracking.
  • Product Organization – Under the “Product Organization” section, type “Gang Sheet” as the product type. Also enter “Gang Sheet” as a tag, then click “Add.”
  • Save the Product – Click “Save” to commit all your settings.
  • Assign the Product to a Sales Channel – Navigate to the Sales Channels section and ensure “Online Store” is selected so the product is visible on your storefront.
  • Create and Apply a Product Template – From the Online Store, go to Products and click “Create template.” Name your template “gang-sheet” and click “Create Template.” Once the template is created, exit the template editor.
  • Apply Template to Product – Return to the Products section, open the newly created gang sheet product, and under “Theme Template,” change it from “default product” to “gang-sheet.” Click “Save” to finalize the template assignment.
