How To Add a New Product

What the plugin requires

A WooCommerce product only appears on the Gang Sheet Products tab if all four of these are true:

• Its Product data type is Variable product. Simple products are rejected with "Product must be a variable product".
• It carries the product tag Gang Sheet. The match ignores capitalisation, so gang sheet works too.
• Its status is Published or Private. Draft and Pending Review products are rejected with "Product is not published or private".
• It is not an Image to Sheet product. Those are created a different way and are listed separately.

Steps

1. In the WordPress admin sidebar, go to Products → All Products, then click Add New Product.
2. Give the product a name.
3. Scroll to the Product data panel and change the dropdown from Simple product to Variable product.
4. In the Product tags box on the right, type Gang sheet and click Add.
5. Click Publish.

6. In the sidebar, click Gang Sheet, then open the Products tab. Your new product is listed.
7. Click Edit on the row.
8. Choose the Art Board Type. On WooCommerce the selectable types are Gang Sheet, Rolling Gang Sheet, Sticker, Upload By Size and Gang Upload.
9. Add your sizes. For a standard Gang Sheet product, click + Add Size and enter the width and height for each sheet you sell. Sizes become WooCommerce variations.
10. Work through the remaining product settings, then click Submit to save.

If the product still does not appear

Work back through the four requirements above in order. The most common cause by far is a Simple product that was never switched to Variable, followed by a typo in the tag.
