Shipping Settings

The Shipping page is where you define how customers receive their orders. You can create multiple shipping methods, set rates and delivery estimates, offer local pickup, and control which methods appear on each storefront.

Shipping method types

Drip Merch supports four method types:

  • Flat Rate — A fixed price you set for the method.
  • Free Shipping — No charge, optionally with a minimum order total to qualify.
  • Local Pickup — Customers collect from your location.
  • Carrier Calculated — Rates calculated by the carrier.
  • Create a shipping method

  • Go to Settings → Shipping.
  • Click Add to create a new method.
  • Choose the method type and give it a name and description.
  • Set the price (for flat rate) or a free shipping minimum where relevant.
  • Add estimated delivery days (minimum and maximum) so customers know what to expect.
  • Choose whether to require a shipping address and/or phone number.
  • Save the method.
  • Use the edit and delete controls to manage methods later, and drag to reorder how they appear at checkout.

    Set up local pickup

For a Local Pickup method, you can add pickup-specific details:

  • A pickup address (street, city, state, ZIP, country).
  • Pickup hours for each day of the week.
  • Pickup instructions telling customers what to do when they arrive.
  • Local pickup can also skip requiring a shipping address, since customers collect in person.

    Assign methods to storefronts

Each shipping method can be enabled per storefront, and you can override its name or price for a specific store. This lets you tailor shipping options to each storefront's audience:

  • Enable the method on the storefronts that should offer it.
  • Set an override price or name where a store needs different terms.
  • Order the methods so the most relevant option appears first.
  • Tips

  • Offer at least one always-available option, like flat rate or pickup, so no storefront is left without a way to check out.
  • Keep delivery estimates realistic to set clear customer expectations.
  • Review storefront assignments whenever you launch a new store.
