Language Settings

The Language page lets you choose the display language used in two places: your internal dashboard and your customer-facing storefront. You can set them independently, so your team and your customers can each work in the language that suits them.

Set your languages

  • Go to Settings → Language.
  • Choose a Dashboard language — this changes the interface you and your team see when managing the shop.
  • Choose a Storefront language — this changes the language customers see when shopping.
  • Click Save.
  • Each option shows the language name and flag so it's easy to pick the right one.

    What happens after saving

When you save, Drip Merch applies your choices right away. The dashboard refreshes so the new interface language takes effect immediately. Your storefront updates to display in the language you selected for customers.

    Dashboard vs. storefront language

    Keeping these separate is intentional:

  • Your dashboard language affects only the people running the shop, so set it to whatever your team is most comfortable with.
  • Your storefront language affects the shopping experience, so choose the language your customers speak.
  • For example, an internal team might prefer English while the storefront serves customers in another language.

    Tips

  • If you serve customers in a different language than your team uses, take advantage of the independent settings rather than compromising on one.
  • After changing the dashboard language, give the page a moment to refresh so all labels update.
  • You can change these settings at any time — nothing here is permanent, so it's safe to experiment and switch back if needed.
  • Language settings are a quick win for making both your team and your customers feel at home in your shop.
