Decoration Methods Settings

Decoration Methods are the techniques your shop uses to apply artwork to garments — screen printing, DTG, DTF, embroidery, HTV, sublimation, and more. This page is central to how your shop works, because the methods you enable drive product pricing and how the designer behaves for customers.

Enable the methods you offer

  • Go to Settings → Decoration Methods.
  • Review the available methods and enable the ones your shop actually offers.
  • Open a method to configure its details and pricing.
  • Save your changes.
  • Only enable methods you can produce in-house or reliably outsource, since customers will be able to choose them at design time.

    Configure pricing per method

    Different decoration techniques are priced differently, and each method has its own settings to match how it's really quoted:

  • Screen printing is typically priced by color count and quantity.
  • DTG and DTF are often priced by print area or size.
  • Embroidery is commonly priced by stitch count.
  • HTV and vinyl methods can be priced for names, numbers, and cut area.
  • Sublimation covers all-over and full-color prints.
  • Set up the pricing model for each method so quotes and storefront prices calculate automatically and accurately.

    Why this matters

    Because decoration methods feed both pricing and the designer, getting them right early prevents problems later:

  • Products link to the methods they support, so the correct options appear to customers.
  • The designer shows the right print areas and constraints based on the method.
  • Quotes and cart totals reflect the pricing rules you set here.
  • Keeping methods up to date

    As your capabilities change — adding a new press, dropping a service — revisit this page to enable or disable methods and adjust pricing. Because these settings ripple through products and pricing, review any affected products after making a change to confirm everything still calculates as expected.
