There is no Active/Inactive label here
The Products tab on the Gang Sheet page does not show an Active or Inactive status, and there is no switch to set one. That is a Shopify and standalone-store feature. On WooCommerce, whether a product is live is decided entirely by its WooCommerce product status.
The only badge on this tab is the Sync badge, which tells you whether the plugin's copy of the product is up to date — not whether customers can buy it.
Checking whether a product is live
- In the WordPress admin sidebar, go to Products → All Products.
- Look at the product's status in the list: Published, Private, Draft or Pending Review.
- Published products are live to everyone. Private products are visible only to logged-in administrators, but the plugin still accepts them.
- Draft and Pending Review products are neither live nor accepted by the plugin.
Taking a product offline
Set its WooCommerce status to Draft in the WooCommerce product editor. It disappears from your storefront and from the Gang Sheet Products tab at the same time.
Taking a product offline does not remove designs or orders already attached to it. Existing orders keep working. What changes is that no new design can be started against it.
Why a product is not on the Products tab
The plugin filters on four things. All four must be true:
- The product's Product data type is Variable product. A Simple product is rejected — "Product must be a variable product".
- It carries the Gang Sheet product tag. Capitalisation does not matter.
- Its status is Published or Private. Anything else is rejected — "Product is not published or private".
- It is not an Image to Sheet product. Those are listed and managed separately.
When a merchant says a product "disappeared", check the WooCommerce status first. A product saved as a draft during an edit is by far the most common cause.
