Orders: How To Allow Customers To Edit Their Own Order

Steps

  • Click Build a Gang Sheet – Start by accessing the Build a Gang Sheet interface from your Shopify dashboard.
  • Click Orders – Navigate to the Orders tab to view all submitted designs from your customers.
  • Click to Expand the Order – Click the dropdown tab under the order to expand it and see individual gang sheet details and actions.
  • Click Allow Edit – Select Allow Edit to initiate customer editing access. This prepares a link for the original buyer to update their design post-purchase.
  • Click Allow to Send Edit Access – After clicking Allow , the app will send a direct editing link to the email of the customer who submitted the order.
  • Confirmation Message – Once the edit link has been successfully sent, a confirmation message will appear on the screen. This indicates that the process was successful.
