Customer Accounts on Your Storefront
Your storefront includes a full customer account system so shoppers can register, sign in, and manage their orders and details. It's built in and works the same across every theme. This article explains what customers can do and how it helps your store.
Registration
New customers can create an account in a few fields:
Having accounts means repeat customers check out faster and you can recognize returning shoppers.
Returning customers sign in from the login page:
The Account Dashboard
Once signed in, customers get a personal dashboard where they can manage their relationship with your store, including:
Order History
From their Orders page, customers can review the orders they've placed on your store, see details, and track their status — reducing the number of "where's my order?" messages you receive.
Saved Addresses
Customers can store one or more shipping addresses in their Addresses page. Saved addresses speed up future checkouts because shoppers don't have to retype their details every time.
Why Accounts Help Your Store
Customer accounts make shopping smoother and encourage repeat purchases. Because registration, login, and the account dashboard are standardized across all storefronts and themes, they always work reliably — you don't have to build or maintain them.
