Create a Storefront
A storefront is your customer-facing online store: it has its own web address, theme, products, and orders. You can run several storefronts from one Drip Merch account, each with its own branding. This article walks you through creating your first one.
Open the Storefronts Page
From the dashboard sidebar, go to Storefronts.
You'll see a list of every storefront you already have, with its status (Published or Draft), theme, page count, and order count.
Use the search box at the top to filter by name, handle, or custom domain if the list gets long.
Create a New Storefront
Click the New Storefront button (the + at the top right).
Enter a Name — this is the display name customers and your team will see.
Enter a Handle — this is the part of the web address that identifies the store (for example, summer-tees). As you type the name, Drip Merch suggests a handle automatically.
Watch the availability indicator next to the handle field. A green check means the handle is free; a warning means it's already taken and you'll need to choose another.
Add an optional Description to remind yourself and your team what the store is for.
Click Create to finish.
Handles can only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens — Drip Merch cleans up spaces and invalid characters as you type.
What Happens Next
Your new storefront starts as a draft, so it isn't visible to the public yet. From the storefronts list you can:
Preview it to see how it looks in a customer's browser.
Edit it to open the visual editor and arrange your pages.
Open its settings to add branding, products, and more.
Once you've added products and styled the store, you can publish it and share the link. Continue with Brand Your Storefront to make it look the part, or Add Products and Collections to start filling it with items.
