Saving Designs, Undo, and History

The Design Studio protects your work in a few ways: it saves automatically as you move around, it lets you save a named design to reload later, and it keeps an undo/redo history so mistakes are easy to reverse.

Undo and redo

  • Use the undo control in the toolbar to step back through your recent changes.
  • Use redo to reapply a change you undid.
  • This works for moves, scales, additions, deletions, and style changes on the canvas.
  • Automatic saving

As you design, the studio saves your canvas per product, color, and view:

  • Switch to another view, color, or product and your current work is stored.
  • Return to it and the studio restores exactly what you left.
  • This is why you can design a full multi-view, multi-color order without manually saving each step.
  • Save a design to reuse

For designs you want to keep or come back to later:

  • Choose Save Design and give it a clear name when prompted.
  • Reopen a saved design later from your saved designs list to continue or reuse it.
  • This is handy for reorders, template layouts, and revisions.
  • Start over

If you want a clean slate, use Start Over to clear the current design — the studio confirms before wiping your work so you don't lose it by accident.

    Tips

    • Name saved designs descriptively (customer, event, or layout) so they're easy to find.
    • Rely on undo for quick fixes and automatic saving for moving between views — you rarely need to think about saving mid-design.
    • Save before making a big experimental change so you can always return to the version you liked.
