Adding a Design to the Cart

When a design is finished, the Add to Cart window is your final checkpoint. It gathers everything about the item — the print locations, the artwork used, the sizes and quantities, and a preview — so you can confirm the order is exactly right before it's placed.

Open the add-to-cart window

  • Click Add to Cart in the Design Studio.
  • The window opens with a summary of your designed item and an enhanced preview.
  • Review the details

    Work through each section:

  • Print Locations — every view you decorated (front, back, sleeves) is listed so you can confirm each placement is intended.
  • Artwork Breakdown — the artwork on the item, useful for checking color counts and file details that affect the decoration.
  • Order Summary — the running price and line items for the design.
  • Enhanced Preview — a composite mockup of the artwork on the product.
  • Set quantities and check quality

  • Enter the quantity for each size you need.
  • Watch for a DPI warning — if any placed artwork is too low-resolution for a crisp print at its current size, the studio flags it before you continue.
  • If you see a warning, go back and scale the artwork down or swap in a higher-resolution file.
  • Confirm and add

  • When the locations, artwork, quantities, and preview all look right, confirm to add the item to the cart.
  • The studio generates the mockup and print-ready files behind the scenes and attaches them to the item.
  • Tips

    • Resolve every DPI warning before adding — it's much cheaper to fix here than after production.
    • Double-check quantities per size, especially for team and event orders.
    • The preview is what your customer expects to receive, so make sure it matches your intent.
