Editing Images

Once you've placed an image on the canvas, the Edit Image panel lets you fine-tune how it looks without leaving the studio or reaching for outside software. These adjustments are non-destructive to your original upload — they apply to the placed object on the canvas.

Open the image editor

  • Select an image on the canvas.
  • Open the Edit Image panel. If nothing is selected, the panel shows "No images to edit."
  • Your adjustment controls appear for the selected image.
  • Adjust the look

Use the sliders to tune the image:

  • Brightness — lighten or darken the whole image.
  • Contrast — increase or reduce the difference between lights and darks.
  • Saturation — boost or mute the colors.
  • Sharpen — crisp up soft edges and detail.
  • Blur — soften the image for a subtle, faded effect.
  • Adjust each slider and watch the canvas update live.

    Mirror and flip

Two quick transforms help with placement:

    • Mirror — flip the image left-to-right, useful for sleeves or symmetrical layouts.
    • Flip — flip the image top-to-bottom.

    Tips

    • Small brightness and contrast tweaks can make artwork pop against a colored garment.
    • If a photo looks washed out on a dark shirt, raise contrast and saturation slightly.
    • Remember the resolution indicator still applies — editing doesn't add detail that isn't in the original file, so start with a high-quality image.
