Adding And Styling Text

The Text tool adds custom wording to any design — slogans, names, event dates, or team taglines. Each text block is a live object you can restyle at any time, and the studio shows its real print size as you resize it.

Add a text block

Open the Text panel.

Start typing where it says "Start typing." Your words appear on the canvas as you type.

Drag the block to position it inside the print area.

Style your text

The Text panel gives you full control over the look:

Font — pick a typeface from the font list.

Color — set the fill color of the letters.

Outline — add a stroke around the letters and choose its color and Width, or set it to None.

Print Size — see and adjust the physical size of the text so it fits the decoration.

Apply effects

Under Effects you can shape the text:

Arc — curve the text along an arc, great for chest or sleeve lettering.
Rotate — tilt the text to any angle.
Spacing — open up or tighten the space between letters.

Arrange the object

The Object controls let you fine-tune placement:

Flip horizontal or Flip vertical to mirror the text.

Bring to front to layer it above other objects.

Delete selected to remove the block.

Tips

High-contrast colors (light text on dark garments) read best from a distance.
Add an outline when text sits over a busy image or a similar-colored garment.
Keep an eye on the print-size indicator — very small lettering can be hard to reproduce in some decoration methods.
