Gang Sheet Settings (Standalone)

Steps

  • Navigate to Settings – First, go to the settings page by visiting https://app.buildagangsheet.com/merchant/settings .
  • Access the Settings Tab – Once in the settings page, select the "Settings" option from the home tab to proceed to the gang sheet settings section.
  • Select the Gang Sheet Tab – In the settings, navigate to the "Gang Sheet" tab, where you will find all relevant settings related to gang sheet management.
  • Print File Name (Default) Feature – The "Print File Name (Default)" option lets you print the "Gang Sheet File Name Format" variables on every order, ensuring consistency across all gang sheets.
  • Choose Available Tags for Gang Sheet – Select the tags you want to print on top of your gang sheet. These tags will help categorize and identify the sheet easily.
  • Turn on Print File Name – Enable the "Print File Name" option to include the tags you’ve selected in the "Gang Sheet File Name Format" on the printed gang sheet.
  • Choose File Name Position – Specify where you would like the file name to appear on your gang sheet, whether at the top or bottom of the sheet.
  • Set File Name Height – Adjust the height of the file name text that will appear on the gang sheet. This setting lets you control how prominent the file name will be when printed.
  • Choose Gang Sheet File Type – Select the file type that works best with your printer. The available options are PNG, PDF, and TIFF. This setting is separate from the file types that customers can upload.
  • Enable Trim Empty Space at the Bottom – The "Trim empty space at the bottom" feature automatically removes any unused space at the bottom of the gang sheet. This helps you save costs by reducing material usage while still charging the customer based on the product dimensions they selected.
  • Connect Your Dropbox – If you prefer to use Dropbox, you can connect your business Dropbox account to the app. The app has unlimited data storage, but linking Dropbox provides an option for file storage and management outside of the app.
  • Change Dropbox Folder Name – Once your Dropbox is connected, you can customize the folder name where gang sheet files will be stored. This makes it easier to organize your files in Dropbox.
  • Add Available Tags in the Chat – You can also add available tags in the chat for easier tracking and reference when interacting with customers or team members.
  • Save Changes – Once you’ve made all the necessary changes, don’t forget to click "Save All" to ensure that your settings are updated and applied to your gang sheets.
