Plan With the Production Calendar

2 min readUpdated 2026-07-25

See Your Schedule at a Glance

The Production Calendar turns your order due dates into a visual schedule so you can plan the week (or month) instead of reacting to it. Instead of scrolling a list, you see jobs laid out by date, making it easy to spot busy days, gaps in the schedule, and deadlines that are creeping up.

Read the Calendar

  • Open Production → Calendar from the dashboard.
  • Each job appears on its due date so you can see the full workload for any given day.
  • Colors and labels carry over from your order statuses and production stages, so you can tell at a glance what's ready to run versus what's still waiting on materials.
  • Plan Your Week

  • Scan for days that are stacked with due dates and rebalance work earlier if you can.
  • Identify jobs that are due soon but still sitting in early stages like Awaiting or PO Placed.
  • Use what you see to prioritize check-ins, ordering, and decorating so nothing lands late.
  • Keep Deadlines Honest

  • Set accurate due dates on orders so the calendar reflects reality.
  • Move jobs through production stages as work happens, and the calendar stays current automatically.
  • Cross-check the calendar against the production board to make sure the jobs due soonest are the ones actually in progress.
  • The calendar is your capacity-planning tool: pair it with the production board and order statuses to keep the whole shop pointed at on-time delivery.
