Your feeds aren't set in stone. You can revisit any feed block in Drip Socials to tweak its layout, styling, or behavior at any time, and your changes flow through to your storefront.
Edit a Feed
- Open Drip Socials from your Shopify admin.
- Find the feed block you want to change in your list of feeds.
- Open it to view its current settings.
- Adjust any of the options.
- Save your changes.
What You Can Change
These are the only settings a feed block has, and all of them are editable:
- Name, and its visibility, position, font family, font size, font style and colour
- Layout — Squares or Tiles
- Columns (2 to 10) and Rows (1 or 2)
- Spacing — 0 to 200 pixels
- Profile header visibility
- Click behaviour — Do nothing, or Go to Instagram
there is no per-block choice of which posts to show and no per-block Instagram account. Every block on your store draws from the same pool of your 20 most recent posts. Two blocks can differ in layout and styling, but never in content.
When Changes Take Effect
When you save an edit, Drip Socials updates the feed configuration and regenerates the feed's markup. Your storefront will reflect the new settings the next time the feed loads for a visitor. If you don't see a change right away, refresh the storefront page.
The Active / Inactive Badge
Your list of feeds shows a green Active or grey Inactive badge against each block.
there is no control anywhere in Drip Socials for this. Every block is created Active, and no page in the app can change it. If a block is showing Inactive, it was not changed by anything you did in the app — contact support rather than hunting for a toggle that does not exist.
The Identifier Stays the Same
Editing a feed does not change its block identifier. That means you can adjust a live feed without touching your theme — the same block in your theme will simply load the updated design.
Tips
- Preview changes on both desktop and mobile before considering them final.
- If you want to test a new look without affecting a live feed, create a new feed block instead of editing the existing one. Both will show the same posts.
- Editing is the right tool for ongoing tweaks; deleting is only for feeds you no longer use.
