Plans, Trials, and Billing

Your Drip Merch subscription is managed entirely from one place: Settings → Billing. This is separate from the payment providers you connect to collect money from your customers. Here you handle your own account with Drip Merch — your plan, your billing cycle, and your usage.

Starting out

When you create a shop, you set up billing as the final step of onboarding. From there you can activate a plan and begin selling. If your account includes a trial period, you'll see it reflected in the Billing section, along with when it ends and what happens next.

Manage your plan

From Settings → Billing you can:

  • See your current plan and what it includes.
  • Switch between monthly and yearly billing to change how you're charged.
  • Upgrade or change plans as your shop grows.
  • Open the billing portal to update your card, download invoices, or review payment history.
  • Track your usage

Every plan comes with allowances for the things that scale with your business, such as:

  • Orders processed in the current billing period.
  • Team members with dashboard access.
  • Storage used by product images, artwork, and gallery files.
  • The usage panel shows where you stand against each limit. Watching these numbers helps you upgrade ahead of a busy season instead of hitting a ceiling mid-order.

    When limits matter

If you're approaching a limit, plan ahead:

  • Review the usage panel before large campaigns or seasonal rushes.
  • Upgrade proactively if you expect a spike in orders or need more team seats.
  • Clean up unused files if storage is the constraint.
  • Keeping billing healthy

Keep your payment method current in the billing portal so your subscription doesn't lapse. If a charge ever fails, update your card promptly to avoid interruptions to your storefronts and dashboard. For questions about a specific charge or plan change, use Settings → Support to open a ticket.
