Manage Integration Access

Integrations link TixTalk to the other tools your team relies on, so it's worth knowing how to check what's connected and how to disconnect cleanly. This guide covers reviewing status and removing access for your Slack and Jira integrations.

Review connection status

Your integration settings show the current state of each connection at a glance.

  • Go to Settings → Integrations to see every integration and whether it's connected.
  • For Slack, a connected integration shows the workspace it's linked to, so you can confirm you're pointed at the right team.
  • For Jira, a connected integration shows your Jira site address and confirms the connection is active.
  • If an integration isn't connected, you'll see a Connect option instead of its configuration.
  • Test a connection

For Jira, you can actively verify the connection is healthy.

  • Open the Jira integration and choose Test Connection.
  • A success result confirms TixTalk can reach your Jira site.
  • If the test fails, choose Re-authorize to sign in again and refresh access.
  • Run a test whenever something looks off — it's a quick way to rule out an expired or broken connection.
  • Disconnect an integration

Removing an integration is straightforward and takes effect right away.

  • Open the integration you want to remove in Settings → Integrations.
  • Click Disconnect and confirm.
  • TixTalk revokes the connection so it no longer sends notifications or syncs data.
  • To reconnect later, simply run through the connect flow again.
  • When to disconnect

A few situations where removing access is the right call.

  • You're switching to a different Slack workspace or Jira site.
  • A connection is misbehaving and you want a clean reconnect.
  • You no longer use the linked tool and want to keep your integrations list tidy.
  • Reviewing your integrations from time to time keeps access current, secure, and limited to the tools you actually rely on.
