Connect Slack

Bring your customer conversations into the tool your team already lives in. When you connect Slack, TixTalk posts new live chats and tickets into the channels you choose, and your agents can reply to customers without leaving Slack.

Connect your workspace

Connecting takes just a couple of clicks and uses Slack's secure sign-in.

  • Go to Settings → Integrations and find the Slack integration.
  • Click Connect and approve the requested permissions in Slack.
  • After you authorize, you're returned to settings with a confirmation that you're connected to your workspace.
  • If anything goes wrong during sign-in, you'll see an error message — just try connecting again.
  • Route conversations to channels

Decide exactly where new activity shows up. You can set this globally or per brand.

  • Choose a Live Chat Channel to receive new live chat notifications.
  • Choose a Ticket Channel to receive new ticket notifications.
  • If you run multiple brands, pick a brand first, then assign channels for that brand — or leave it on the default for all brands.
  • Turn individual notifications on or off, such as new chats, new tickets, new chat messages, and ticket replies.
  • Save your configuration. TixTalk automatically joins the channels you selected so it can post there.
  • Reply from Slack and customize messages

Your team can respond to customers directly inside Slack threads.

  • When a notification arrives, reply in its Slack thread to send your response back to the customer.
  • Set a response prefix if you want a marker that separates customer-facing replies from internal chatter — messages without the prefix stay team-only.
  • Personalize the live chat and ticket notification templates using variables like visitor name, email, company, ticket number, subject, and priority.
  • Enable or disable live chat and ticket notifications independently, so each channel gets only what's relevant.
  • With Slack connected, your team stays on top of every conversation and keeps internal discussion neatly separate from what customers see.
