A Tour of Your Dashboard

2 min readUpdated 2026-09-16

Your TixTalk dashboard is the command center for your customer support. The sidebar has seven items. Here is what each one is for.

Dashboard

The landing page after you sign in. It shows stat cards for your current workload and a Live Queue panel of conversations waiting for someone to pick them up.

Live Chat

See visitors on your site in real time and handle live conversations as they come in. This is where your team picks up incoming chats, replies instantly, and keeps an eye on who's browsing right now.

Tickets

Manage support requests that need follow-up. Open, update, reply to, and close tickets, apply SLA policies to stay on track, and set up automations to handle routine work for you.

Knowledge Base

A placeholder screen. The numbers and the single sample article on it are fixed examples, not your data, and there is no way to write articles or publish a help center yet. See Knowledge Base: What Works Today before you plan around it.

Team

Invite teammates and give each person a role — Owner, Admin, Team Lead, Agent or Viewer — and set the permission checkboxes on their profile. Note that roles and permissions are recorded but are not enforced yet; see Permission Checkboxes on a Team Member.

Analytics

A placeholder that reads "Analytics dashboard coming soon". The live chat reporting that does exist lives under Live Chat, not here.

Settings

Everything you configure, grouped into General (Company Info, Brands), Channels (Live Chat, Chat Widgets, Email), Productivity (Canned Responses, Ticket Forms, Macros, Automations, SLA Policies) and Integrations (Connected Apps).

What's Next

Spend a minute clicking through each section so you're comfortable navigating. When you're ready, set up your first live chat channel and invite your team.
