If your survey isn't appearing after checkout, it's almost always one of a few conditions not being met. Work through this checklist in order to get it live.
Checklist
- Is the app switched on in Shopify? In your Shopify admin go to Settings → Checkout and confirm the app — listed as OSOM Post Purchase Surveys — is enabled. Step 1 of the in-app Setup guide links straight there. This is a separate switch from the one inside the app and is the most commonly missed step.
- Is the survey enabled? Open Drip Surveys, go to General settings, and confirm Survey enabled is ticked. It is off on a fresh install. Save if you change it.
- Is your store on an active paid plan? The survey only renders for stores with an active subscription. Check the Plans page and subscribe or reactivate if needed.
- Do you have at least one question? The app blocks a save with no questions, so this only bites if something went wrong. Add a question and save.
- Has this order already responded? By default each order can respond once, and the storefront checks for an existing response before it renders the form. If you're re-testing the same order, the survey hides itself. Tick Allow repeated submit temporarily, or test with a new order.
- Is the app block placed on the page? The survey is a Shopify checkout UI block. In Settings → Checkout → Customize, confirm the Drip Surveys block is present where you expect it.
Still not showing?
- Save your configuration again to re-push the survey to your storefront, then wait a moment.
- Place a fresh test order rather than reloading an old one.
- Clear your browser cache or try an incognito window to rule out caching.
Good to know
- The two display spots are the thank-you page and the order status page — check both.
- Changes are written to the storefront only when you save, so always save after edits before testing.
- If everything above checks out and the survey still won't appear, confirm your subscription shows as active, since an inactive plan silently hides the survey.
Most "survey not showing" cases come down to the app never being switched on in Shopify's Checkout settings, the in-app Survey enabled box being left unticked, an inactive plan, or testing against an order that already responded.
