Viewing Survey Responses

Every time a shopper completes your survey, Drip Surveys saves their answers as a response you can review in the dashboard. Responses are tied to the order they came from, so you always know who said what.

What's in a response

Each response includes:

  • Order number — the order the response is linked to.
  • Customer name — pulled from the order's billing details.
  • Customer email — the shopper's email address.
  • Date submitted — when the response was recorded.
  • Answers — the shopper's answer to each survey question.
  • Browse your responses

  • Open Drip Surveys in your Shopify admin.
  • Go to the responses section.
  • Scroll through the list of responses, newest first.
  • Use the pagination controls to move between pages.
  • Filter by date

  • In the responses view, set a date from and date to.
  • The list updates to show only responses submitted within that range.
  • Clear the dates to return to the full list.
  • Filtering is handy for reviewing a specific campaign period or comparing months.

    Good to know

    • Responses are paginated, so large volumes stay easy to navigate — adjust the page as needed.
    • The order number shown is the friendly order name where available, falling back to the order identifier.
    • Each response captures the answers exactly as the shopper submitted them, including multiple selections for checkbox questions.
    • Want the data in a spreadsheet? See the export article to download responses as XLSX or CSV.
Reviewing responses regularly turns raw feedback into action — look for patterns in how customers found you and what they think of your store.
