Drip Surveys is a subscription app billed through Shopify. You choose between a monthly and an annual plan, and a free trial lets you try everything before you're charged. This article covers your options and what a plan unlocks.
Your billing options
The Plans page shows two cards, both in US dollars and both billed through Shopify:
- Monthly — $19.99 per month.
- Yearly — $191.88 per year, badged Save 20%. That badge is accurate: twelve months at $19.99 would be $239.88, so the yearly plan is a genuine 20% saving, the equivalent of about ten months.
Both cards carry the same feature list: Unlimited Responses, White Labeled Forms (No Watermarks), Export Responses as CSV, Survey Statistics, and Live chat support.
the card says "Export Responses as CSV", but exports are offered in both CSV and XLSX.
Free trial
Both plans start with a 7-day free trial, shown on each card. You can build your survey, test it at checkout and review responses before any charge applies. If you keep the subscription, billing begins automatically once the trial ends.
Stores on a Shopify staff, partner, affiliate or trial plan are always treated as test charges and are never actually billed.
Why a plan is required
Drip Surveys only displays your survey to shoppers when your store is on an active paid plan. This means:
- Your survey renders at checkout only while your subscription is active.
- If a subscription lapses or is cancelled, the survey stops showing.
- Responses can only be collected while the survey is live.
Choose a plan
- Open Drip Surveys in your Shopify admin.
- Go to the Plans page.
- If you have a promo code, apply it first using Use discount code — the card prices redraw to show the reduced amount.
- Click Select on the Monthly or Yearly card.
- You're redirected to Shopify to approve the subscription.
- Approve it, and you're returned to Drip Surveys with your plan active.
Good to know
- Billing is handled entirely through Shopify's secure subscription system — your payment stays on your Shopify invoice.
- The yearly plan is the most cost-effective choice if you plan to use Drip Surveys long term.
- If you have a promo code, apply it before selecting a plan. The reduced price then shows on Shopify's approval screen before you confirm.
Pick the plan that fits your needs, and remember the survey goes live only once your subscription is active.
