Show Your Instagram Profile Header

Alongside your post grid, Drip Socials can display a profile header that mirrors your Instagram profile — complete with your picture, stats, and a Follow button. It's a great way to encourage shoppers to follow you.

What the Header Includes

When enabled, the profile header shows:

  • Your profile picture
  • Your display name and @username
  • Your post count (labeled "Posts")
  • Your follower count (labeled "Followers")
  • Your following count (labeled "Following")
  • A Follow button that links directly to your Instagram profile
All of these values are pulled from your connected Instagram account and refreshed automatically.

Turn the Header On or Off

Each feed has a profile visibility setting:

  • Visible — the full profile header appears above the gallery.
  • Not visible — only the post grid is shown (this is the default).

Set It Up

  • Open your feed block's settings in Drip Socials.
  • Set profile visibility to Visible.
  • Save your changes.
  • Preview your storefront to see the header in place.
  • Where the Data Comes From

The header uses the profile details Drip Socials fetched when you connected Instagram — your picture, name, username, and follower/following counts. These are updated on each scheduled refresh, so the numbers stay reasonably current. If a profile picture isn't available, a placeholder image is used.

    The Follow Button

The Follow button links to your Instagram profile and opens in a new tab, giving shoppers a one-click path to follow you without leaving your store behind.

    Tips

    • Pair the profile header with a "Do nothing" click behavior if you want the Follow button to be the main call to action.
    • If stats look outdated, they'll update on the next scheduled refresh; reconnecting Instagram forces an immediate update.

    Next Steps

    • Style the surrounding text — see Feed Name and Text Styling.
    • Configure clicks — see Set What Happens When Visitors Click a Post.
