Install Drip Socials on Shopify

Getting Drip Socials onto your store takes just a couple of minutes. The app installs like any other Shopify app and only requests the permissions it needs to display your feed.

Install the App

  • Open the Drip Socials listing on the Shopify App Store.
  • Click Add app (or Install).
  • You'll be taken to your Shopify admin to review the installation.
  • Review the requested permissions and click Install to confirm.

    • Drip Socials requests permission to read your theme files (read_themes). This lets the app work with your storefront theme so your Instagram feed can be embedded correctly. It does not request write access to your products, orders, or customers.

    After Installation

    Once installed, Drip Socials opens inside your Shopify admin as an embedded app.

  • You'll land on the app's home screen the first time it loads.
  • From here your next step is to connect your Instagram account so the app has content to display.
  • After connecting Instagram, you'll create a feed block and add it to your theme.

    • Drip Socials creates a secure record for your store during installation.
    • The app registers the compliance webhooks Shopify requires (for data requests and account deletion) automatically.
    • No feed appears on your storefront yet — that only happens once you connect Instagram and add a feed block to your theme.

    If the app doesn't load after installing, try refreshing your Shopify admin or reopening Drip Socials from your Apps list.
