Add the Instagram Feed to Your Theme

Drip Socials adds your Instagram feed to your storefront through a theme block called InstaPulse Feed. You place this block wherever you want the gallery to appear using the standard Shopify theme editor — no code required.

Before You Start

Make sure you've already:

  • Connected your Instagram account in Drip Socials.
  • Created a feed block and noted its block identifier (see Feed Layout and Grid Options).

    • Add the Feed Block

  • In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  • Click Customize on the theme you want to edit.
  • Navigate to the page and section where you want the feed to appear.
  • Click Add block (or Add section/app block) and choose InstaPulse Feed from the list.
  • Position the block where you'd like it within the section.

    • Link It to Your Feed

    Each feed you build in Drip Socials has its own identifier. In the block's settings in the theme editor:

  • Find the Block identifier field.
  • Enter the identifier for the feed you want to show here.
  • If you only use a single default feed, you can leave the default identifier in place.

    • This tells Drip Socials exactly which feed configuration and posts to load in that spot.

    Save and Preview

  • Click Save in the theme editor.
  • Preview your storefront to confirm the feed appears and loads your posts.

    • Tips

    • You can add the feed block to more than one section or page.
    • To show different layouts in different places, use a different block identifier in each location (see Add Multiple Feeds to Your Store).
