Tier Labels and Badges

Labels are the small badges on each tier that call out the savings or flag the best option. Used well, they turn a plain list of quantities into a persuasive "obvious choice" layout. Drip Discounts gives you both manual and automatic ways to set them.

Adding a Manual Label

  • Open the deal and select the tier you want to badge.
  • Enter the label text — for example, "Save 20%," "Best value," or "Most popular."
  • Save the deal to show the badge on your storefront.
  • Manual labels give you full control over the wording, so you can use marketing copy rather than just a raw percentage.

    Auto-Calculated Discount Labels

Drip Discounts can generate a savings label for a tier automatically, so you don't have to update it by hand every time the discount changes.

  • Turn on auto-calculate label discount for the tier.
  • Drip Discounts fills the label with the tier's savings for you.
  • When you change the tier's discount later, the label stays accurate automatically.
  • Auto labels are ideal when you tweak your discounts often and want the badges to always match without manual upkeep.

    Styling Your Labels

  • Set the label background and label text colors so badges stand out (see the color article).
  • Adjust the label text font size and weight so the badge is legible but not overpowering.
  • Using Labels to Guide Choice

  • Put a strong label like "Best value" on the tier you most want shoppers to pick.
  • Keep labels consistent across tiers so the comparison is easy.
  • Avoid badging every tier — when everything is highlighted, nothing stands out.
  • Previewing

After adding or auto-calculating labels, save the deal and view a product page to confirm the badges display correctly and read clearly on both desktop and mobile.
