Creating a Deal
A deal is the container for a full quantity-break offer. This article covers creating one and setting its core details. Styling, tiers, and product targeting each have their own dedicated articles — here we focus on getting the deal itself set up correctly.
Naming and Titling the Deal
Start a new deal in Drip Discounts.
Enter a name. This is your internal reference and must be unique across your store, so use something descriptive like "Coffee 3-pack bundle."
Enter a title. This is the customer-facing heading shown above the tiers on the product page.
The name is for you; the title is for shoppers. Keeping them distinct helps you manage many deals without confusing your storefront copy.
Choosing the Layout
Select vertical to stack the tiers on top of each other — good for narrow columns and mobile.
Select horizontal to place the tiers side by side — good for wide product pages.
Choosing the Pricing Option
Choose per item to show shoppers the discounted price per single unit.
Choose per volume to show the total price for the whole bundle at that tier.
Pick whichever framing makes your savings feel most compelling for that product.
Adding Tiers and Targeting
Add at least one quantity tier — every deal requires a minimum of one.
Set the deal's visibility (all products, specific products, or specific collections) and choose the products or collections it covers.
Saving the Deal
Review your settings and save the deal.
Drip Discounts automatically creates the matching Shopify discount so savings apply at checkout.
Once saved, the deal is ready to display — make sure the Drip Discounts theme block is enabled on your product pages so shoppers can see it. You can return and edit any deal at any time; your changes sync back to the underlying discount automatically.
