Subscribing and Managing Billing
Once you're ready to move past the trial and keep your quantity breaks running, you'll subscribe to Drip Discounts through Shopify. This article walks through the subscription flow and how to change your billing later.
Subscribing
In Drip Discounts, choose your billing interval — monthly or annual.
Drip Discounts creates a subscription request and sends you to Shopify's confirmation screen.
Review the price and details shown by Shopify.
Approve the charge to activate your subscription.
You're returned to the app, and your subscription is now active.
Because billing runs through Shopify, you never enter payment details in the app itself — Shopify handles the charge securely.
Confirming Your Subscription Is Active
After approving, Drip Discounts verifies the charge with Shopify.
Once confirmed as active, your paid features are unlocked and the on-store deal bar can display.
If the confirmation doesn't complete, you're returned to the app so you can try again.
Applying a Coupon First
If you have a coupon code, apply it before you subscribe.
The percentage discount is then carried into the price Shopify shows on the confirmation screen.
Switching Between Monthly and Annual
To change intervals, start a new subscription with the interval you prefer.
Shopify shows the new price for confirmation before any change takes effect.
Managing or Canceling
Your Drip Discounts charge appears with your other app subscriptions in your Shopify admin.
Manage or cancel the subscription from there following Shopify's standard billing controls.
After Subscribing
With billing active, all of Drip Discounts' features stay available. If you ever need to pause, handle it through Shopify's subscription management — and remember your deals and settings remain saved in the app for when you return.
