Drip Discounts is a paid Shopify app with a straightforward pricing structure and a free trial so you can try it risk-free. This article covers the billing options and what a subscription includes.
Billing Options
The Plans page shows two cards, both in US dollars and both billed through Shopify:
- Monthly — $11.99 per month.
- Yearly — $119.98 per year. That is exactly ten months' worth of the monthly price, so a year costs you two months less than paying monthly.
Both options unlock the same features — the only difference is how often you're billed and the overall cost.
the yearly card carries a Save 30% badge. That badge overstates the saving. Twelve months at $11.99 is $143.88, so $119.98 is a saving of about 16.6%, not 30%. The prices themselves are correct; only the badge is wrong.
The Free Trial
- Both plans include a 14-day free trial, shown on each card.
- During the trial you can build deals, style your deal bar, and go live at no charge.
- You're only billed once the trial ends.
Stores on a Shopify staff, partner-test, affiliate or trial plan are always treated as test charges and are never actually billed.
Billing Through Shopify
- All charges are handled securely through Shopify's billing system.
- When you subscribe, Shopify shows you a confirmation screen with the price before anything is charged.
- Your subscription appears alongside your other app charges in your Shopify admin.
What a Subscription Unlocks
Both cards list: Unlimited bundle deals, Endless customizations, Billed every month, and Live chat support.
without an active plan your deals are hidden, not deleted. The app shows a banner reading "Your deals will remain hidden until you choose a plan", and your paid status is written to a storefront flag the deal bar reads. Losing the plan — by cancelling, or because Shopify marks your shop cancelled, frozen or fraudulent — flips that flag and every deal disappears from your product pages at once. All your configuration is kept and comes straight back when a plan is active again.
Coupons
- If you have a Drip Discounts coupon code, apply it on the Plans page before selecting a plan. The card prices redraw to show the reduced amount.

Choosing a Plan
If you're just getting started, the monthly plan plus the 14-day trial is the lowest-commitment way in. Once you've confirmed the app is lifting your average order value, switching to yearly saves you the equivalent of two months.
