Many Shopify themes include their own quantity selector on the product page — a number field with plus and minus buttons. Because the Drip Discounts deal bar already lets shoppers pick a quantity by choosing a tier, showing both can be confusing.
Drip Discounts has a Keep quantity input flag that decides whether your theme's native selector stays visible.
Important
there is no control for this anywhere in the merchant app. Do not go looking for a toggle — it is not on the deal editor, the settings page or anywhere else. The flag can only be changed by Drip Apps support from an internal admin console, so changing it means asking us.
What the setting does
- Keep quantity input enabled — your theme's built-in quantity selector remains visible alongside the deal bar.
- Keep quantity input disabled — the native selector is suppressed so the deal bar is the single place to choose quantity.
Disabled is the default. A store that has never asked for a change has the native selector suppressed.
Which one you want
- If your tiers cover the quantities that matter, leave it disabled for the clearest experience. This is what most stores want and is why it is the default.
- If shoppers frequently need an arbitrary quantity outside your tiers, ask support to enable it so they can still type any number.
How to change it
- Contact Drip Apps support through the Contact support button in the app, which opens live chat.
- Tell us your store URL and whether you want the native quantity selector kept or suppressed.
- We flip the flag and it is published to your storefront configuration straight away.
- Reload a product page to confirm the result.
Good to know
- Themes render the quantity field differently, so always check a product page on both desktop and mobile after a change.
